FAQs

No, our heaters are not designed for use in a bathroom or other humid areas, such as a laundry room or an open porch. Not only is there a risk of electrocution in moist environments, but damp locations, especially bathrooms, create a situation where moisture can collect on the heating element. Over time this moisture can cause serious damage to the element and the heater. Using this heater in a bathroom will void the warranty.

There are two ways to be more economical in using this portable heater. Choose the lower heat setting which will draw 750 watts instead of drawing double the power at 1500 watts on high. You can also save money by using this heater as zonal heating. That means don?t heat your whole house, turn down your central thermostat and operate this portable heater in just the room you use most often.

Because heaters are running at such high wattage, inconsistencies in power could trip an internal breaker. Try unplugging the heater and leave it unplugged for about 20 minutes. This should reset the heater. If the issue continues to happen, you may want to try using the heater on a different outlet that you are sure is on a different circuit in your home, to see if the problem still exists. If this does not solve the problem, please call or email consumer relations.
