WHERE IS THE BEST LOCATION IN THE ROOM TO PUT MY FAN?

The best location in the room to place your fan is based on where and how you want cooling relief. However, please read the Important Safety Instructions located in the beginning of each Owner’s Manual for further information on proper usage and placement.

For Year-Round Air Circulation

In the summer: Circulate cool air by using with window or central air conditioning. Circulate cool air upstairs. In the winter: Use with other heat sources, such as wood stoves, baseboard heaters, and or vents to help circulate the warm air throughout the room. Position your air circulator in an open location for upward air movement. Run it on a low setting to move the hotter air from the ceiling and circulate the warmer air throughout the room.

HOW DO I SET THE TEMPERATURE ON MY FAN?

You cannot adjust the temperature on a fan, as a portable fan provides cooling relief by circulating air that is already in the room. Portable fans do not actually cool the air like an air conditioner. However, if your portable fan operates via manual/knob controls, simply turn the knob to the setting that best suits your needs. If your portable unit operates via electronic button controls, simply press the button until you reach a setting that best meets your cooling needs.
