Question: How do I set up my humidifier?

Answer: Please refer to the “How to Use” video specific to your model found below in the Videos & Support section or refer to the following directions:
1. Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface, a minimum of 12” from the wall.
2. Remove any tape holding components in place for shipping. Fill with water, plug in and turn on (Note: Top Fill Cool Moisture Towers HEV615 & HEV620 and Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier HUL570 require installation of float paddle before use.)
Please note the following:
- For evaporative cool moisture humidifiers, like this one, it is recommended to wet the wick before use for faster humidification.
- For warm mist humidifiers, it will take a minute or more for the water to boil and the unit to produce steam.
- For ultrasonic cool mist humidifiers, elevating the humidifier on a table or shelf will help keep the mist from settling on the floor.
