Question: Why are there 2 filters in my air purifier? What are the differences?
Answer: Most Honeywell Air Purifiers come with both a pre-filter and a primary filter.
The pre-filter helps capture larger airborne particles like pet hair and dust and reduce odors and VOCs.
The primary filter in your unit will typically be a HEPA, Dual Action or ifD filter that helps capture the following smaller microscopic airborne allergens and particles: dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris and smoke
