Question: How do I assemble my fan?
Answer: The HPF870BWM fan comes fully assembled.
Question: My fan has lost power even when plugged in.
Answer: If you are unable to get your fan to turn on with it plugged in, and you have confirmed that your outlet is fully functioning, the fuse in your Fused Safety Plug may need replacing.
Question: How do I replace the fuse in my Fused Safety Plug? (US Models Only)
Answer:
Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. DO NOT unplug by pulling the cord.
Slide the fuse cover, which is located on the top of the plug, towards the prongs of the plug (Fig. 1)
Carefully remove the blown fuse and snap a new fuse into place. To reduce the risk of fire, replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse. Fully close the fuse door by sliding back into place. (Fig. 2)
Discard the blown fuse. The plug should now be ready for normal use.

Answer: The effective air flow range of this fan is up to 45 feet when run on its highest setting.
Question: What is the CFM of this fan?
Answer: Airflow (volumetric flow rate) is the rate at which air passes through an area. It is frequently measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). The HPF870BWM Turbo Force Power+ is capable of producing airflow up to 825 CFM.
Question: What is the Air Velocity of this fan?
Answer: Windspeed (air velocity) is a measurement of how fast air is moving over a period of time. The faster the airflow (windspeed), the greater the cooling effect. On HIGH, the HPF870BWM Turbo Force Power+ produces windspeed of up to 12mph.
Question: Where is the best location in the room to put my fan?
Answer:
The best location in the room to place your fan is based on where and how you want cooling relief. However, please read the Important Safety Instructions located in the beginning of each Owner’s Manual for further information on proper usage and placement.
For Year-Round Air Circulation:
In the summer: Circulate cool air by using with window or central air conditioning. Honeywell Turbo Air Circulators help lower energy bills by increasing the distribution of cooler air from the AC, creating a vortex of airflow for increased comfort. Increased air flow allows the AC to be used at lower wattage settings to help you save money.
In the winter: Use with other heat sources, such as wood stoves, baseboard heaters, and or vents to help circulate the warm air throughout the room. Position your air circulator in an open location for upward air movement. Run it on a low setting to move the hotter air from the ceiling and circulate the warmer air throughout the room.
Question: If I have any additional questions, who can I contact?
